POLICIES

  • Door Codes: Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email and a separate email with your door code. If you do not get a door code, contact us immediately and not when you arrive for your booking. We do not guarantee we will be available at a moment’s notice to give you your door code resulting in missing your booking with no refund.

  • Cancellations: Cancellations MUST be done at least 24 hours in advance (ex: If your reservation is Tuesday at 2:00pm, you have until Monday 1:59pm to cancel) Studio credit will be given if cancelled up to 24 hours of your reservation. Cancelations not made up to 24 hours or more will receive no refund or studio credit.

  • Reschedules: You can reschedule using your confirmation email up to 24 hours before your reservation start time. (ex: If your reservation is Tuesday at 2:00pm, you have until Monday 1:59pm to reschedule.) Reschedules are not available after 24 hours and will not be refunded or studio credit given.

  • Be Prompt. Arrive + leave on time. Please allow for set up + clean up when you book so you have enough time to shoot AND clean/reset for the next guest after you. If you need more time, please text us at least 30 minutes before your booking ends to see if there is another guest after you. If there isn’t, we would be happily add more time to your booking + charge your cc on file for the additional time. Our Google Voice number is located at the check-in table + in our emails.

  • Cleaning: Take time to clean + reset the studio before leaving (there are instructions at the studio.) Clients are subject to up to $250 cleaning or resetting fee if studio rules are not followed. We will always provide clients with photos/videos of what was not cleaned or put away.

  • Security Cameras: We use a security camera in the space to ensure these rules are being followed but only check footage when you arrive and leave. We respect your privacy + the privacy of your clients.

  • Extension cords: use the studio's power cords provided. NO outside extension cords.

  • Pets: Please keep pets off of the furniture. Keep a close eye on pets for messes they leave. Clients must vacuum furniture and mop up any messes before leaving.

  • No smoking

  • No non-prescription or illegal drugs.

  • Music/voices are to be kept at reasonable levels

  • Maximum of 20 persons/booking

  • No photographing/filming/producing any adult material such as pornography or any other illegal activity of any kind. (This does not include boudoir/tasteful nude photography.)

+ HOW DO I GET IN THE SPACE?

When your booking is confirmed we will send you a 4 digit code to enter on the key pad on the door of the space.

+ DO I NEED INSURANCE?

We do not require proof of insurance. It is your responsibility to obtain either yearly or hourly insurance for your own liability.

+ WHAT IS YOUR CLEANING POLICY?

Our cleaning policy is easy: Leave the space cleaner than you found it wheather you found it that way or not. We rely on a community mind set to keep this space running. Please refer to the cleaning checklist every time you visit to make sure everything is put back where it belongs and the space is left clean and tidy for the next guest coming in. We are not like Airbnb... We clean the space 1-2x a week so we truly need everyone to help keep the space clean so that everyone can enjoy a clean space. If the space is not cleaned or rest back to what the instructions show, guests will be subject to a fee up to $250.

+ WHAT IF I NEED MORE TIME?

Please be prompt + thoughtful of the guests coming in after you. If you are at the studio + need/want more time, text us immediately to see if there is availability after your original booking. If you need more time before your booking, go to your confirmation email and click "Change/reschedule" button to add more time (up to 24 hours before your scheduled booking). If you do not communicate with us and stay past your reservation, we check the security cameras after every booking.A $5/minute charge will be charged to your cc on file or an invoice will be sent to you. Guests rely on your prompt exit.

+ WHAT ARE THE BEST TIME OF DAY TO RENT THE SPACE?

The space's windows face NW. The light is even and gorgeous pretty much the entire day. You can check out our studio guide for more specific descriptions of the type of light there. You can also check out our how to page for videos about the space.

+ WHATS INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL?

Check out our studio guide for everything that is included. On top of all the props, walls + furniture, the space has a wheelchair accessable bathroom with a changing table, lots of cleaning supplies for you to use to clean up. Seamless paper is available for 2+ hour bookings for an additional $35.

+ DO YOU ALLOW VIDEO SHOOTS?

Yes, video shoots are allowed. We do however want to let people know that it's not the quietest studio ever due to the door not being sealed and businesses get deliveries from big trucks sometimes. Just a heads up.

+ CAN I SHOW UP EARLY TO SET UP?

We ask that you show up promptly when you reservation starts. You can come early and wait in the parking lot, but if someone is in the space, please don't bother them until your booking time.

+ WHAT ARE YOUR RENTAL DROP OFF/PICK UP POLICIES?

Due to limited availability, Rentals need to be delivered + picked up same day. We cannot hold any rentals for you, so the rentals must be delivered and picked up within your rental time you booked.

+ WHAT IF I BREAK SOMETHING OR FIND A MESS?

Communication is the best policy. Things happen, stuff breaks. If the value of the broken item is less than $100, don't worry about, we will take care of it, but please communicate it is broken regardless if you were the one that broke it. If the value is over $100, we will arrange something via email. We want to encourage everyone to communicate without feeling like they will be "in trouble". We appreciate honest communication + a fair opportunity to figure things out.
